Course Overview

This course is for Application Specialists involved in the configuration and generation of orthographic drawings from the SmartPlant 3D model. The course starts with workflows for generating drawings and editing drawings, followed by various configuration and customization techniques.

  • Design engineers, draughtsmen and technicians entering plant design work.

Prerequisites

  • Basic computer literacy and familiarity with Windows.
  • An engineering or technical background is helpful but not required.

Methodology

  • Instructor-led sessions with live demonstration.
  • Hands-on workshops on individual workstations — one participant per machine.
  • Progressive exercises building towards a complete worked example.
