Basic P&ID and Equipment Drawing

PDMEC Lab, Kemaman

Course Overview

This course provides participants with a comprehensive introduction to Process Flow Diagrams (PFD), Piping and Instrumentation Diagrams (P&ID), and Equipment Drawings used in the process, oil & gas, petrochemical, and manufacturing industries. Participants will learn the principles of process documentation, engineering symbols, equipment identification, piping components, instrumentation, and drawing interpretation. The course also includes hands-on training using AutoCAD Plant 3D to create and modify PFD and P&ID drawings according to industry standards. By the end of the course, participants will be able to read, interpret, and produce basic engineering drawings required in process plant design and operation.
